2. Correspondence between the output of analog products and the angle range


Answer: The two have a linear relationship. For example, when the output is 0-10V and the range is ±90°, when the angle is -90°, the output is 0V; when the angle is 0°, the output is 5V; when the angle is +90° , Output 10V.


3. How to choose


Answer: According to your application scenario, confirm which parameters (pitch angle, roll angle, heading angle, acceleration, angular velocity, etc.) are needed, then see what accuracy you need, and finally see whether you need digital or analog output.


4. Why the sensor has no data output


Answer: (1) First, determine the power supply voltage and output mode of the sensor according to the label of the sensor, connect according to the corresponding interface mode, and use the corresponding protocol;


(2) Use a multimeter to check the power supply voltage to ensure that the power supply is normal;


(3) Configure the serial port parameters for communication, set the correct product address (normal protocol factory default 00, modbus protocol factory default 01), select the correct baud rate (default 9600);


(4) Use the replacement method to replace the serial cable, or test the product.


Note: Quickly identify the normal working status of the product: When the power supply is normal, use a multimeter to measure the current on the red line of the product. The typical value of the digital sensor is 40ma, and the maximum current of the analog output sensor does not exceed 60ma.


5. Which direction does single-axis and dual-axis measurement refer to?


Answer: Single axis means +X, -X, which can measure pitch angle or roll angle; dual axis means +X, -X, +Y, -Y, which can measure both pitch angle and roll angle.


6. What problems should be paid attention to in the use of electronic compass


Answer: Although the electronic compass can compensate for magnetic interference, users should choose an environment with the least magnetic interference to install and use. Try to stay away from iron, nickel, magnets, motors and other magnetic materials as much as possible.
